This week’s photo challenge gives me the possibility to kill two birds with one stone: I can show you some more wonderful decaying and also broken old doors from Kefalonia/ Greece. I find these very charming and beauiful in colors and compositon. Hope you like them, too.
Mitza, we are soul sisters! You have found the most amazing beauty in decay here…I think I need to visit Kefalonia, it would be right up my street π

Oh how lovely to find a soul sister somewhere in this world, Sue. That really makes me very happy to find somebody that understands my post. I hope you can visit Kefalonia sooner or later and I’m looking forward to your posts. Have a wonderful day, regards Mitza

Thanks a lot for liking my collection, Jane. Even though I don’t really like to wander, I forget everything when I see these old doors. For a good photo I would really “jump from a hill”, hehe. Regards Mitza

I’m afraid I walk around in a daze and don’t register details well but I’ve just had a day out and will try to post some photos tonight.

I’m sure the new impressions are a bit overwhelming, but you will definitely find enough things in Istanbul, I’m pretty sure. Have fun, regards Mitza

Beautifully collected, so much to see in these! My eye was particularly caught by the greens that appear throughout.

Thanks a lot, Alexandra. I really have a great collection of old doors and can never get enough of it! Where should I go when I have photographed all the doors in Kefalonia??? But here we have a lot of old doors, too. Have a wonderful week-end, regards Mitza

Maybe you should do all the doors in all the Greek islands! π That would be an awesome project!

Thanks a lot, Alexandra for this wonderful idea. I don’t know if I will live long enough for this project. But I would like to make a book about old Greek doors. (Hope somebody hears me…) π
