Some weeks ago I found this beautiful little creature in our garden, sitting on a hydrangea. I accidentally had my camera with me and the toad gave me just 3 seconds to make a photo. I had no time to kiss it, though, and so I don’t know if it was an enchanted prince (or even Prince!).
Sorry you missed your prince! XD

I was more sorry I missed Prince, because I love his music, hehe

It truly must be a prince (not the rock star, thank goodness)! 🙂

thanks a lot, Thomas, we will never know who it was, as it didn’t sing, hehe

Carpe Diem! Wenn sich die Gelegenheit ergibt, einen Prinzen zu küssen, dann muss man zugreifen. Nun ja, du hast ihn (die Kröte) wenigstens mit der Kamera eingefangen und dir dabei romantische Gedanken gemacht.

Prince or not, he is a handsome little dude nestled amongst those beautiful shades of green and blue. Nice shot. 🙂

Sometimes all we need is to be at the right place at the right time and magic happens! This is such a magical moment, in an eye of a blink you froze a special moment forever! Adorable little fellow framed into a beautiful flower, natural perfection Mitza.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, dear Eva. It’s always like this in life that you have to be at the right place at the right time, not only for photos. But I must take my camera with me always not to miss a shot like this. Dear Eva, I hope you are fine and don’t have such an ugly weather like we have, only rain and dark grey. Kind regards to Canada, Mitza

I wish I could say our weather is better but for days now is very wet, cold, extremely windy and dark, to dark! It is not enjoyable at all and I hate to be stuck in the house without going down to the beach for long periods of time. Oh well, on the end this is very typical for this part of Canada…so I can’t really send you over sunshine but I can wish for you some change weather wise and send you some 🙂 🙂 :)~Eva

we seem to have the same weather, it’s in a way a bit too warm but on the other hand stormy and dark grey. Just now a little ray of sun is coming out, which I would like to send to you, kind regards Mitza

Well Mitza, that ray of sun did arrived over here, today for the first time in a while I woke up to sunshine, thank you! I needed it, hope will stay for a while!
Best wishes back to you!~Eva

What a cute little toad! I’m so glad you were able to capture the moment. They don’t come very often. 🙂

yes, that’s right, they mostly hide somewhere, but from time to time we are lucky to have them in our garden. Thanks a lot for your comment, regards Mitza

I love the colors, too. I just started to paint a little, but unfortunately I got a cold and a lumbago which makes it hard for me to cough because all my back hurts so much. Let’s hope it will be better soon. 🙂

Oh no! You are poorly Mitza! I am so, so sorry to hear this and wish I could help some how. 😦 x Please get better soon.

Thank you so much for caring, I’m already feeling much better and still bicycling every day. Bad weeds grow tall, hehe

I have never had Lumbago. Is exercise good for it? I am just asking to check if you are taking care of yourself😊Mitza x

the problem is that you can’t move at all without pain. The only thing that helps is a hotty or a heat plaster and then it takes about 5 days until you feel good again. I’m very happy our Volvo car has heatable seats. That’s a perfect car for lumbago, hehe. Today it snowed, it’s ugly, damp, cold outside, but still had to bicycle. Miss a cozy fireplace in my flat. Have a nice day, regards Mitza

Pain like that is so wearing. I am guessing that it just flares up every now and again? I do hope that you are seeing an improvement now. I have finally found the really lovely information I mentioned to you some time ago; the article about Birth stones. It came from a magazine so I could scan it and email it to you. Is your email address on your about page? Karen x

thanks for your kind wishes. The pain only comes when you move, bend, rotate. I’m sitting with my hotty every evening because it doesn’t leave me, but will go to the doc soon. My email address is in my about page, Karen. Thanks in advance, have a nice day. Here it’s only raining and dark grey outside. Wish it was March, kind regards Mitza

thank you so much, dear Karen. I was really lucky to be there, to see it and to photograph it quickly. I was happy that the photo came out so nicely. Wishing you a wonderful week-end, without so much rain and a little kiss of Josef’s cute little nosy, kind regards Mitza

Oh, this sounds so nice, the little Josef. But having and loving somebody means that you have to separate one day and that’s so sad. I don’t know if I want to feel such a pain again. Enjoy every day with this lovely cat, dear Karen, and give him a kiss every day from me, kind regards Mitza
