May I invite you to come to our garden? We have sunny weather, a pleasing temperature of 12 degrees C. All our rare flowers are coming up and show their first tender beauty of spring. On my photos you can see the following flowers: filled buttercup, tormentil, alpine barrenwort, wild and normal tulips, helebores, dew drops, primulas, pansies, dog tooth violets, grape hyacinths, camelia, etc. etc.
I found a wonderful poem by my favorite poet Rainer Maria Rilke who can describe everything much better than me:
Harshness vanished. A sudden softness
has replaced the meadows’ wintry grey.
Little rivulets of water changed
their singing accents.
Tendernesses, hesitantly, reach toward the earth
from space, and country lanes are showing
these unexpected subtle risings
that find expression in the empty trees.
Such lovely spring colors! ;->
Virtual hugs,
Judie

We must be happy with 12 degrees here in the North, unfortunately it is still quite cold and will even snow on Sunday. I prefer 27 degrees water temperature and 32 outside 🙂 Kind regards Mitza

Thank you so much, Thomas. Even though it is small (300 sqm) we have a huge variety of rare plants and I go down there quite often every day in order to forget all earthly troubles. I will see if I can paint something. I still have so much on my to do list. Have a nice day, regards to Tweetie, Mitza

Yes, we have similar flowers but I don’t have the same in my garden, which is more an edible garden rather than ornamental. Lately I have put in small containers of flowers here and there but I don’t have much room (nor sun) for them.

I wish I could steal time. I just finished few new pieces which I gave away and got some old art nouveau pieces for them. But I photographed them before and they will be in my blog sooner or later, and still it’s so terribly cold in our cellar. On Sunday it’s supposed to snow, believe it or not.

hehe. I always make a special tea for me with herbs, some pieces of fresh organic ginger, honey and a little rum. When I drink this, I feel quite happy and ready for dirty jokes, hehe, which are my speciality.

ginger and honey and rum = a Medicinal Tea, by Mitza. Now, doesn’t that sound like a winner! bet folks would pay for that recipe!!:) Cheers, and bottoms up

It’s delicious and healthy, if you don’t put more rum than tea. I just take a spoon full, hehe

Great idea. I dislike such long flights because of my “restless legs” illness. It’s nearly impossible for me to sit for so many hours and I don’t have a bicycle on board, sigh. But in my thoughts I’m sitting here celebrating with you, woo hoo

Gorgeous photos Mitza! You are lucky to have such lovely plants in your garden. Here we have daffodils everywhere – along the hedgerows, in fields and formal arrangements in gardens – I absolutely adore daffodils! They are such happy flowers. It’s also supposed to be bluebell season, so I’m hoping to find a wood near us with lots on display and then i’ll take some photos. Our tulips in the garden are flowering too – but we have cold weather at the moment, with an icy wind.

Thank you so much for your comment, Luke. I love daffodils a lot, as well as bluebells and when they are like carpets, it’s like a dream. We have such a cold weather with icy winds, too, and it’s raining a lot. I hope for some sun soon. Have a nice day, regards Mitza
