This week I would like to show you some faces that I found in very different places. Two are from a monastery we visited some days ago, four are from fleamarkets that I visited, some are from our beautiful cemetery. I usually never photograph persons. Some days ago a neighbour of mine asked me if I could photograph his son who wants to be a model. You can see his photograph below. He was very happy about my photos.
I love this array of faces and I think the one you did of the living person is wonderful. I also like having a living person in among all the statues, etc. – for a contrast and comparison!

Great (and very unique) facial shots, Mitza! 🙂
My nephew is a model and wants to be an actor; it’s a tough, competitive world out there regarding that kind of thing! (It’s a good thing he has another job at an fitness center that he is part owner of.) Tell your neighbor to always have a good plan B!

Thank you, Thomas, for your kind words. That’s exactly what I told this boy. I’m sure he could be a model, but hopefully he will stay “normal”. Have a nice day, regards Mitza

Good for saying something to him! The best professions help people directly; I’m not so sure modelling is all that wonderful for mankind.

I took the role of the “old auntie” that gives advices. I agree with you. The life of models isn’t really only roses. And being said all the time how beautiful you are may lead to a weird self-assurance like Dorian Grey style. Let’s hope the best for him.

Those are wonderful faces in response to the challenge – who sets these challenges for you, Mtza? That boy has a beautiful face.

The world is full of distinct faces. If it were not so, how boring this world would be. I like your photographs very much, Mitza.

What an amazing collection dear Mitza, you have a good eye for detail and the variety is pretty amazing. For some strange reason I immediately picked out the photos you made in the graveyard. And of course a flea market is an ideal place to find all sort of ideas, treasures, and images 🙂 Great work. Have a good night.

thanks again, dear Agnes. Old graveyards are very attractive to me, might sound weird and to carve a mourning face out of stone is something really overwhelming because you forget that it’s stone, it’s just moving. Fleamarkets are the best part of my life. I take so much inspiration out of all the things I see. Thanks for commenting, have a nice day, how’s the weather in Ireland? Mitza

It is warmer than normal Mitza, about 23C here today, normally and like last summer it was only around 15C, depending on where in Ireland you live.

I was really waiting for the earth warming in former years when it was so cold, but now I see the desasters that happen. But anyway, enjoy a wonderful warm weekend.
