I guess the oldest doors could be around 100 years but most of the iron doors are from the late fifties after a severe earthquake when everything collapsed and had to be rebuilt. Have a nice day, virtual hugs Mitza
Lovely to see some of your doors and windows again 🙂
There’s a small blue one at the bottom that looks like a door half way up a wall. Must be a window, but still, looks fun! 🙂
The perfect opportunity for you to share with us the kind of photography and subject matter where you truly excel!
You are the Queen of the faded paintwork and you understand the beauty of objects which become MORE beautiful as they age.
Just fabulous!

Thanks a lot, Karen for this wonderful comment. For the time being, I’m a bit lazy with posting as we might move soon and I have so many things to do and think about.
All the best, Mitza
Oh Mitza, people like us with all our precious vintage items and collections do not find it easy to move. We have so much stuff 😟. Wish I could help. X
Are you still in your house and do you still bake cakes? When I move I might have a cat again. I will be very happy then to hear that purring sound that I love so much. XXX
I am in my house still but I had to give up the Cosy Cake Club. I could not seem to make enough money out of it. I now have turned my whole garden over to growing flowers and I sell them at my gate.
I would be so pleased if you could have a cat ❤️️ x X
Always a treat to see your doors. Will study them more this afternoon !!
Virtual hugs,
Judie

If only those doors could tell us what they have seen over the years. How old do you think the oldest ones are?

It seems to me that you have as many beautiful images of doors on Kefalonia as I have of the Arrow Lakes. That is quite a collection, dear MItza!

Lovely collection Mitza! Each door must be protecting a story behind them.
